Reminder: Wellness NowTM Online Now Available

In December 2011, we emailed you regarding the launch of our new Wellness NowTM program. This exciting new health and wellness program launched on January 12, 2012.

Wellness Now is a comprehensive wellness program made up of three integral components:

  • Wellness Now Online – Online health and wellness information for plan members
    (online tool launched January 12th)
  • Wellness Now Prevention – Prevention and Assistance Services 
  • Wellness Now Consultation – Consultation Services
    (launching later in 2012 – stay tuned for further details)

The first component, Wellness Now Online, is a complete one-stop shop for information on health and wellness topics. All plan members who register for Benefits NowTM for Plan Members have access to this valuable, no-cost, online tool.

Wellness Now Online benefits

Wellness Now Online helps plan members to better understand the impact of their lifestyle choices on their health and well-being. The benefit for your clients: healthy employees are more productive, more engaged and have reduced rates of absenteeism. By offering this online tool we can help your clients better manage and promote health and wellness among their plan members.

Wellness Now Online will provide plan members with:

  • Health assessments in a variety of areas including nutrition, smoking and stress
  • A personal health record to store and manage their personal and family health information in a centralized location
  • A health library with current and reliable health information provided by the Canadian Medical Association
  • A goal setting tool to help plan members set lifestyle goals and track their progress

Plan sponsors can request aggregate reporting from the risk assessments that are completed online. These reports will highlight areas of risk so plan sponsors can effectively plan future wellness strategies.
